Alexei Domestic Shorthair Adult for sale in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Alexei's story
I am one of six siblings born in an industrial park to a feral mom who was trapped and spayed. We were trapped near the end of the age period when taming feral kittens is easiest, so some of us are a bit on the shy side; especially at adoption clinic. We will need special, understanding homes, but warm up quickly once we get to know you. All of us have been exposed to, and got along with, large cat-friendly dogs as young kittens. My date of birth is October 15th, 2012.
I am a superbly handsome, big Russian Blue type fellow. I am nowhere near close to finished growing and likely to be a very large cat. I am extremely high energy and playful, but I also like my down time being petted. I get along well with other cats, but have been known to play pretty wildly, so any other cat I am living with should be rough and ready J! I love going twelve rounds with my brothers. I very much dislike being picked up, handled, or put in a carrier, and I detest being in a cage at adoption clinic, but I am super friendly when it is on my terms. I am not afraid of anything and will likely get over my shyness and occasional fear of new people and places quickly. Because I was the ring-leader and the protector in my litter, I think I need to act like a tough guy, but Im actually a real softie inside. How could you pass up a fine looker like me?
When you do bring me home, make a 'safe' room for me while I get used to the smells and sounds of my new home.  I'll adjust better this way!  This will also give me a 'safe' place to go if I get scared.
