Sears Tower 43 Rangefinder camera Nikkor 5cm F2 lens Nicca LTM in Albuquerque, New Mexico

$279

Old
vintage items may show signs of  normal usage: some scratches,
dings, chips, scuff marks and dusts. Please refer to the PHOTOS for
your assessment.

Sears
Tower 43 body (No. 51630) in great cosmetic and mechanical condition: Free of observable ding/dent. It
winds and fires on all speeds. The camera viewfinder is clear and the

rangefinder lines up. Comes with a Techno-View 28 mm viewfinder.Nikkor-H.C 1:2 f=5cm (No. 646274) with an original silver Tower front Cap. NOTE: Under normal light condition relatively looks clear however under a bright LED flashlight (i.e. tilted toward blue spectrum) shined through the lens some haze and foreign materials possibly dusts/fungus type can be observable (see photos). Also, the front element seems to have cleaning marks due to improper cleaning procedures performed in the past.NOTE: There
are oily residues on the blades (photos #4, 5). Even though they move
easily when the aperture setting ring is rotated...we do understand
that some people are not comfortable with oily blades...even though
this camera is a rangefinder therefore the blades are already set
prior to shooting...I.E. they do not NEED to get actuated when the
shutter is triggered.

Have taken a digital photo using this lens (Nikkor-H.C 1:2 f=5cm (No. 646274)) on a Pentax K 1 full-frame body (see the photos). No contrast and sharping done to the JPEGs.

Accuracy (e.g. shutter speeds) and exposure have not been tested with film.

Fully
mechanical body (will function in a very cold condition). A great photography tool for
student/hobbyist to practice the Sunny 16 Rule. After more than a half century, the original Tower carry case in not in pristine condition i.e. front bottom flap is detaching itself from the rest (see photo). The red box is NOT included in this bundle.

If you need to see more photos of e.g. lens, body,
interior, etc., please let me know. I can send them to you Listed item(s) has been only lightly cleaned and dusted off to eliminate

any arbitrary deep cleaning step that can be unintentionally detrimental to delicate

vintage/antique optical equipment.

Attention:
Almost all multi-decade vintage optical equipment (e.g. binocular,
lens, camera, microscope, telescope, etc.) are bound to have possible
foreign objects inside of them due to inadvertent introduction of
very tiny to noticeable size of the following (e.g.): air bubbles,
metal shavings, fungus, haze, evaporated oil residue, deteriorated
glue/grease/foam, and/or, mostly, all kinds of dust blown-in from the
real-world external environment. If you want a truly pristine item,
you either have to search long and hard for that rare item (and pay
for it) Or you can have, at your convenience, quality CLA work done
to bring them up to optically optimal level.
